We cut out paper hearts and made a fun trail for the girls to follow when they woke up in the morning into the living room. There they found the valentines gifts from Grandma and a few things we threw in... This was then followed by a pancake breakfast. Pink Heart shaped pancakes to be exact, topped with heart shaped sprinkles... yum!
This year Maya really got into following the heart trail. She had to step on each and every heart until she got to the living room where she saw the fun surprise.
It's so fun having family traditions and watching the girls enjoy them and look forward to them for the next year. Maybe the next traditions I start will be simpler...Then again who knows...
